2019 Chappellet Chenin Blanc

A vibrant summertime wine. Notes of white peach compliment conversing with friends about overthrowing the man. Orange blossoms fill the glass as you think about how your choices of 80’s and 90’s hardcore and punk (Fugazi, Descendants, Reagans Youth, Madball) are exactly what the serene backdrop needs. There is a green apple quality that you intentionally ignore because it feels cliché to acknowledge it, like your friend Staci at golden hour trying to get one for “The Gram”. The tight acid will go great with your wild caught salmon and farmer’s market veggies. It’s easy to power down your own personal bottle to ensure you get a great night sleep before rising up in the morning to crush capitalism with your mass-produced coffee in hand.
